Have you ever played the old children's game of "telephone"?
You know - where a message is whispered from child to child, and
the last child says what they heard out loud. By then the message
is usually so garbled that the children fall over with giggles and
laughter.
Has the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus become this kind
of message for you - so familiar, heard from and interpreted
by so many people, that it is garbled and no longer a powerfull
story of love and redemption?
This Lent, during our Wednesday evening services, we will
be presenting short dramatic scenes from Jesus' final days
as seen through the eyes of the people who were there.
Each person sees the events through the lens of their
own life experience, and it has a unique and powerful
impact on their lives. We invite you to join us on Wednesday
evenings to open yourself to the possibility that Christ
has something powerful for your life today.
We will also offer a mid-day service for those who prefer
to worship during the daytime. The service will offer an
opportunity to enter into the presence of our Lord through
music, prayer and scripture.
